I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving and now the next holiday is right around the corner! Spellbinder’s has made my life a little bit easier with the Limited Edition Santa’s Lane Cardmaking Kit. The kit is a great value filled with beautiful products. Over the past several days I have provided you with inspiration from the kit. Please check previous blog posts if you wish to see these examples. Now it’s time for a SUPER simple but very elegant card. On to the details!
All products from this card were provided in the kit. Cut, score, and fold a top-folding A2 card base. Then cut a 3.75” x 5” piece of the black card stock. Now just score random horizontal lines across the black card stock. It’s hard to see but does add nice texture to the background.
Next select your ephemera. There are a ton of puffy, gold snowflake and star stickers in the kit. I combined these with the beautiful die-cut snowflakes and stars and then added this sentient. Arrange all of your paper elements and adhere with liquid glue.
I then added the sentiment panel with foam tape and added the stickers. I even added some liquid glue to the puffy stickers just in case! Now add foam tape to the back of the panel and attach to your are base. Throw on a few gems and you’re done! What do you think?
