Good morning it’s Feature Day for the LDRS Creative October/Christmas products. Today I have a rainbow card for you using the Christmas Floral Coordinating Dies and the new Christmas Sentiment Stack Stamp and the Sentiment Shadow Stack 2. These tree dies have beautiful coordinating floral stamps. Today I am just using the dies to create a fun, rainbow tree for you.

First, I cut, scored and folded an A2 top-folding card base. On the front of the card base I scored a line at every 1/2”. It just adds a little texture to the background.

Next I cut a piece of card stock to 3.75”x 5”. Using the Leaf Outline Stencil I swiped some glitter paste through the stencil.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper that was larger than the largest tree from the Christmas Floral die set. Using some metallic watercolors, I spritzed the watercolor paper and paints then with a brush I painted lines across the paper in rainbow order. I taped the dies together and cut the paper out once it was dry. I am only using two of the die-cuts, the third I can make another card with. I also cut a tree from white card stock using the largest tree die. Next I glued the two water colored pieces to the white tree with liquid glue. I added some dots around the small rainbow tree with a gold gel pen.

Next, I stamped the Christmas Sentiment Stack with a gold pigment ink. I cut these out with the Sentiment Stack Die 2. I then used the Sentiment Shadow Stack-Straight 2 and cut shadow strips from a brushed gold card stock. Now I LOADS of sentiments for more cards! I selected a sentiment and glued it to the coordinating shadow strip.

I used liquid glue to adhere the tree to the leaf panel.. I adhered the sentiment and shadow with foam tape. Then I added foam tape to the back of the entire panel and attached to the card base. This card came together quickly and has a ton of shine. I love the geometric shape of the tree against the organic shapes of the leaves.

I hope you enjoy this card. I would love for you to subscribe to my blog below and follow me on social media from the icons at the top of this post.
