Today is Feature Day 1 over on the LDRS Creative Daily Inspiration blog and we have SNEAK PEEKS of the upcoming release! Trust me there are some beauties that you will just have to stay tuned for! I am giving you a peek at the new Potted Hibiscus Stamps and Dies and Stencils! It is a fabulous set that is so easy to color. I am also showing you the new Diamond A2 Cover Plate which is great for backgrounds. For this card, I created what looks like a window to me. There is a larger diamond cut from the center that will allow you to add a focal point with ease. Here is the first of two cards you will get a look at. Card 2 will be up tomorrow!

To start, cut a top-folding A2 card base. Using the A2 Diagonal Stitched Card Topper dies, use the second largest rectangle to cut your focal point panel. Next with the Happiness sentiment from the Potted Hibiscus stamp set, stamp the word happiness all of the back of the focal point panel. (Tip-start your stamping in the center and work your way out-fill up the entire panel). Next, cut your A2 Diamond cover plate out. Adhere this to the stamped panel and trim off any overhanging edges. Adhere this panel to the card base with foam tape.

Using a stamping platform, stamp your hibiscus image and your sentiment. For the sentiment, I chose to couple the word happiness with “is in the little things” included in the stamp set. I heat embossed the image and sentiment with clear embossing powder. Use your stencils, or any medium, to color your image. Die-cut the floral image and fussy cut the sentiment. Glue your sentiment to your floral image, add foam tape to the back and adhere to your main panel.

Once you add a few enamel dots from the One Fine Day collection your card is finished. I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek.
