Today’s card is really simple. Do you ever wake up thinking you have lost your creative mojo? It’s funny because different creators have different ways of dealing with this. For me, it is to just make something SIMPLE. It cleans out the cobwebs for me. It makes me feel good, kind of like a clean house! So, today’s card is just that, SIMPLE! Let me know in the comments below how you get out of a creative slump.

Cut, score, and fold an A2 top folding card base from pale blue card stock. Next, cut a white panel to 3.73″ x 5″. Place this in the Head in The Clouds embossing folder and run through your die machine per its instructions. Add foam tape to the back and add to the blue card base. For the dimensional clouds, I had an old cloud die and cut it several times. It was small and I wanted it to stand out a bit. So I layered the two back clouds 3 times and glued them together. The front cloud is four layers thick. I glued the top to the bottom two clouds and then popped everything up with foam tape. I added some Caribbean Blue Pearls from Kat Scrappiness below the clouds like rain. They were the perfect color.

For the sentiment, I used the Happy My Happy You Sentiment stack and coordinating die from LDRS Creative. It is a fantastic way to cut multiple strip sentiments at once. I added foam to the back and adhered it under the clouds. I love the way this turned out. I would love to know what you think in the comments below! All of the products used today are listed below. I would appreciate you using these links to purchase any item. It costs you nothing and provides a small commission to me. This allows me to continue to provide inspiration to other card makers.
