Merry & bright

Today is the Online Card Class Wrap Up. I managed to squeeze in one more card inspired by these classes.

If you didn’t happen to purchase the class, Crushing On Cardstock, you still can on the website here.

I used a My Favorite Things large die for this card. I cut the die from a piece of light blue cardstock and then four more from white card. I glued and layered these together.

I then added some texture behind the die by creating three different smaller panels. The first panel is a stencil from Gina K Designs. I used a few different Distress Oxide Inks.

The second panel is a darker blue cardstock and I used another Gina K Designs stencil. I added Glitter Gel from GKD over the stencil and set it aside to dry.

The third panel is the same blue cardstock that has been run through my crimper tool.

I punched a snowflake from an ancient thumb punch from silver glitter paper. Then I added three more white pieces behind with glue.

Everything was adhered to a 4.25”x 5.5” card base. I am happy with the results and can’t believe there is no stamping involved. As always, thanks for stopping by!!
