Welcome back to a new Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #539. This week everything is about pets and we want to see your creations! This week’s sponsor is:

They are a small company comprised of Jen (artist and crafter) and Jeff (finance and business) and are located in Southern Wisconsin. The stamp designs are created from Jen’s hand-drawn sketches and are perfect for all your paper crafts! Their goal is to provide you with unique and whimsical stamp designs that are fun to use and make you smile!

So let’s make a card! This card is one layer and easy to make First, I stamped my image and sentiment onto a 4.25”x5.5” white card s panel. I also embossed the sentiment using clear embossing powder. I also stamped the image onto a piece of masking paper from Gina K Designs. I cut out a circle from a 3”x3” piece of masking paper. I put the cat mask over the cat and then the square with the circle cut out over that. I laid my stencil over top and ink blended my colors. Then I used some post it notes to tape off the top and created a bit of a shadow under the cat just ground the image.

Next, I used the Gina K Designs Master Layout 2 to cut out the main panel with the stitched rectangle and the larger plain rectangle for a border in coordinating card stock.(I chose a dark purple.)

There is very little coloring done here I used alcohol markers for the eyes and a neutral grey for some shading.

I added Glossy Accents to the eyes and a few pearls from Kat Scrappiness called Opal pearls.

That’s it! I encourage you all to play along with us at the Cupcakes Inspiration Challenge!

As always, thanks for stopping by. i would love if you would subscribe to my blog and follow me on Instagram @expressivepaper
