Sometimes a product comes along that just allows you to PLAY. My journey with the Spellbinder’s Limited Edition Santa’s Lane Cardmaking Kit has been so much fun to play with. I still have all of the bits of ephemera scattered all over my desk and a small area left open to create. I haven’t had to really clean my craft desk for a few days now! today’s card is another SUPER easy one and it makes me happy! That’s all that matters right? So now for the card and details!

Everything used to make this card was included in the kit except the embossing folder I used for the white background panel. First, I cut, scored and folded an A2 top-folding card base with the green paper from the kit. Using the white card stock in the kit I cut a panel to 3.75” x 5” and used an embossing folder to emboss. (TIP-You can use the debossed side of the embossed panel. This helps sometimes if you want emphasize the dimension of other elements. In this case, I used puffy sentiment stickers from the kit, They adhered mush better to the debossed side,)

Glue your embossed panel to your green card base. Adhere the BELIEVE sentiment. (Another TIP-You can use a bit of glue behind your stickers if you are worried about the stickiness of the sticker or your sticker has lost a bit of stick 😁)

I wanted to use these cute deer stickers from the kit. So I chose to place them on this heart from the kit. I ink blended a little Distress Oxide Black Soot around the heart first. I then glued the little buck directly to the sticker and popped the baby up on foam tape.

The heart was then glued down to the embossed panel and the strip sentiment sticker was added, That’s it card done, less than 30 minutes! What do you think? I am absolutely in love with these deer and so happy that the kit includes a stamp of one.
