Do you like quirky sentiment stamps? Even ones that are a bit naughty. I confess…I do! When I got this set from The Maker’s Movement, I knew I was going to love it. My card today features new products from The Maker’s Movement, July release and I think you will love them!

This card is about layering. It comes together quickly once all the cutting and stamping is done. My card base is a square 5.5″ x 5.5″ top-folding card. The patterned paper for today’s card is called Cloudy Day and it is a fabulous new paper pack of grey, yellow, and white patterned papers. The flowered layer is cut to 5″ x 5″. This is glued directly to the card base. The black card is 4″ x 4″, and the dotted panel is one-eighth” smaller. Use your favorite adhesive to adhere the dotted panel to the black. Add foam tape to the back of this panel.
The quirky sentiment, “Sorry Everything Sucks Right Now” is what I was talking about! I love it! This new set is called Everything Sucks. It includes multiple sentiments and a beautiful floral frame. For my card, I stamped the floral frame with black pigment ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I then used my Brother Scan N Cut to cut it out. You can EASILY fussy cut it, but I try to get the dust off of my electronic cutting machines occasionally.

I used a single yellow marker (that’s right….no fancy coloring!) and chose a few of the floral elements to color. I did the centers of the daisies and the roses. I then added foam tape to the back.
I found a circle die that fit the center of the frame and stamped the sentiment in Delicata Golden Glitz and heat embossed with clear powder. I then added foam tape to the back.

Then just adhere your layers and add a few gold pearls or other gems. It was such an easy card to create but I am happy with the results. Let me know what you think.
