Beautiful Butterflies Card Tutorial

Good morning I have a new card tutorial for you today. Today I am using Gina K Design’s new Master Lay Out 15 with the older Beautiful Butterflies 3 stamp set. All of the Butterfly stamps from GKD are in my stash and I love them ALL!

Cut, score, and fold a top folding A2 card base.

Cut a panel of colored card stock 4 1/4“ x 5 1/2 half inches. Use the 2 largest rectangles in Master Layout 1, cut a black rectangle and a white rectangle.

Place the white panel into your Misti. Use your anti-static powder tool over the panel. Arrange some of the Beautiful Butterflies 3 stamps on the white panel. Stamp the images a few times using Gina K. Designs Black Amalgam Ink.

Cover with clear embossing powder and heat with your heat tool.

Use the postage die from the Gina Kay. Designs Master Layout 15 set. Die-cut this using your die machine. Set the postage strip aside. Attach the white panel (with the cut-out space) to the black rectangle you cut with ML1. I used liquid glue.

Now it’s time for some ink blending. I started at the top of the postage strip panel with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry. I added Ripe Persimmon and then Squeezed Lemonade.

Next, I used the plain rectangle from ML15 and cut it from black card stock. Adhere the ink blended strip on top with liquid glue.

To assemble the card, I attached the pink card panel to my card base with liquid glue. I added the stamped panel on top with glue. Finally, I added foam tape to the postage strip and adhered it over the cut-out.

The small sentiment is from Gina K Designs Mixed Messages. I added a few gems and the card is done.

If you were inspired by this card and decide to make any of the purchases, I would appreciate it if you use my affiliate link above. They cost you nothing and provide a small commission to me. This helps me maintain my blog and continue to inspire you, have a fabulous day.
