Good morning! Today is release day at LDRS Creative. The February release is packed full of essentials you will want in your craft room! Today’s card features the new Wildflower Slimline Stamp and Stencils. Another element to this card is the Everyday Sayings stamps & dies. These are my new FAVORITE sentiment sets They cover every occasion I can think of and are suitable for any card. LDRS has also released a second sentiment set called Special Occasions and the sayings are fantastic! So why wait? Let’s make a couple of cards!

The Wildflower Slimline Stamp and Stencils can be used for multiple card sizes. Today I have chosen to use them in a standard A2 format and a slimline card. But you can easily see they could be used for mini-slimline and even A7 .
Before I get started, I just want to show you the array of sentiments now available. So take a peek at this picture and see what amazing sets these are There is also a die set available WITH the shadow dies I am crazy for them. I love the font and size of these sentiments. They have become a staple in my craft space. Let me know what you think! Now it’s card time!

card details
A2 card
- Place a piece of 4.25″ x 5.5″ 110lb card stock into your platfform. Position the Wildflower stamp.
- Using your anti-static powder brush or shake over the panel.
- With the embossing ink stamp your image several times.
- Sprinkle black embossing powder over the inked image.
- Heat using your heat tool. (heat your tool at least 15 seconds prior to using)
- I always start my heating from the back of the image until the powder starts to melt. I finish off on the front of the panel. This results in a smoother finish.
- Now with a water pen and the LDRS Creative inks watercolor your image.
- Cut, score and fold a side folding A2 card base.
- Using the largest piece from the A2 Diagonal stitched frames cut a panel from plain white card stock. Cut the second panel panel from the stamped & colored image.
- Cut a panel of black card stock 1/8″ bigger on both sides.
- Adhere the black panel to the stamped panel using a dot runner or liquid glue.
- Adhere this image to the large stitched frame with foam tape.
- Stamp your sentiment in black ink and emboss. Die-cut the shadow from white card stock. Adhere with liquid glue.
- Pop sentiment up on foam tape.
- Add bling!

slimline card
- Place a piece of 4″ x 9″ 110lb card stock into your platfform. Position the Wildflower stamp.
- Using your anti-static powder brush or shake over the panel.
- With the embossing ink stamp your image several times.
- Sprinkle black embossing powder over the inked image.
- Heat using your heat tool. (heat your tool at least 15 seconds prior to using)
- Now with a water pen and the LDRS Creative inks watercolor your image.
- Cut a card base of 8″ x 9″
- Score and fold at 4″
- Using the DiagonalStitched postage frame largest die tape to folded panel to folded base. Make sure the rounded edge is slightly over the fold and run through your die-cutting machine. I ran it through twice. By doing this you don’t cut through the folded base.
- Using the postage frame from the Slimline Postage die set cut a panel from plain white card stock. Using the next smaller frame cut the stamped and colored panel.
- Cut a panel of black card stock to the same size as your stamped image from black card stock. Glue the colored image on top. The black will just peek out from the corners.
- Ink blend around your postage panel with Raven Hybrid Ink.
- Adhere the entire panel to the white card base.
- Stamp your sentiment in black ink and emboss. Die-cut the shadow from white card stock. Adhere with liquid glue.
- Pop sentiment up on foam tape.
- Add bling!
- I also used the Slimline Envelope die with some old patterned paper. Instructions for this are on the backof the packaging.
