Inlaid die cut cards

Most card makers know that Jennifer McGuire is the queen of inlaid die cut cards. Well, who better to learn from then the queen herself. During the virtual classes, Online Card Classes, we were provided with some beautiful examples and a full look into her process. Here is my homework

The die cut is from Crafty Meraki. It is called Bubble Mania. I cut many layers in different colors and just played with it following her advice.

The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. They are called Reverse Sentiments as they are preprinted white on black and you just cut the sentiment you need.

There are a lot of layers to this card. The card itself is 4.25 x 5.5. The next all white layer is 3.5 x 4.75 and the inlaid piece is 2.5 x 3.75. The foliage is from My Favorite Things and was glued to die piece. The sentiment was popped up on foam tape after running a black Zig marker along the edges. This just helps the sentiment to pop.

I also used Glossy Accents on a few of the ovals. Not sure I needed that but oh well!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this card. I had a lot of fun making it and promise to practice this technique more. As always, thanks for stopping!
