Just Play with your stash

What do you have in your stash? Do you have backgrounds you have created just waiting for a purpose? Do you have powders and pearls waiting for a home? It’s fun to just play so that is what we are doing today!

The background was created with water color paper. I misted the paper with water and sprinkled multiple colors of Lindy’s Magicals. After it dried, I used a stencil from Joggles and some tinted texture paste, pushing it through the stencil.

I allowed this to dry. I then cut a portion of the LDRS Creative’s Modern Geometric A2 III Cover plate I only wanted a small section. I then used a circle die to cut the area I wanted. using the same circle die and one slightly larger I cut 3 frames and glued them together. I then swiped Versamark ink on the frame and heat embossed with silver powder a few times.

I backed the frame with a circle cut from vellum and then adhered the die-cut element in the middle. I flipped it over and with some water I brushed on some more Magical powder in the center of the die-cut.

At this point I thought it resembled a dream catcher. I colored some white twine with some more Magical powder and adhered the string to the bottom of my dream catcher and gave it a trim.

The sentiment is from Ideology/Tim Holtz Label Sentiments. There are so many different sentiments and they are stickers! How easy is that?

The main panel was cut using Gina K’s Master Layout 2 die set I use this set so frequently it just stays on my desk. I backed the main panel with a black card stock that was 1/8” larger. The main panel was adhered to a top-folding A2 card base with foam tape. I added my focal point with liquid glue, the sentiments were adhered with foam tape A few bits a silver bling and the card is done!

I hope you enjoy this card It really is nice to key your creativity flow without having an end result in mind.
