It’s time for a new release from Kat Scrappiness. This release is mostly Halloween and Thanksgiving but has additional products you will love! Today I have two cards for you, and I am in love with the dies used on both! There is also a new stacked sentiment stamp and die that will really come in handy for all your projects! So, let’s make a 3D Box card and a few MORE with the new products from Kat Scrappiness!

The first card features a BUNCH of new products. The 3D Box dies are new for Kat Scrappiness and make such fun cards. I am not going to go into the construction of the box as you can find that video over on the Kat Scrappiness YouTube Channel. So, make sure you check that out! The products I used in this card are:
- Creepy Kooky Paper
- 3D Box
- 3D Box Hill Add On
- Cast A Spell
- Witches Brew
- Spooky Halloween Word Die w/Shadow
- Mint Green AB Solid Confetti
- Eye Candy Sprinkles
- Pearl Dots
First, I cut out the pieces for the 3D Box and Hill Add-Ons. I cut it out of black card stock and a few Creepy Kooky Papers. I used the hill add-on as the shelves for all the fabulous pieces. Glue your patterned paper where you want them after trimming off any excess.
I cut out the Spooky Halloween sentiment and shadow. I ink blended Distress Oxide Black Soot around the shadow. For the word die I ink blended Distress Oxides Twisted Citron, Antique Linen, and Black Soot from top to bottom. Now glue the pieces together.
I cut out the potion beakers and test tube from the Cast a Spell Die set and the cauldron and bubbles from the Witches Brew Die set. This set is perfect for shaker cards. First, I cut out all the little bottles from heavy white card stock and colored the labels, dots, and poison skulls with my alcohol markers. Then I glued all the bits together and moved on to the shaker element.
I cut out the cauldron with the center cut out, several times in black. Afterward, I cut the frame cauldron in black as well. I heat embossed the topmost layer of the shaker with a sparkly embossing powder and heat set. Glue your acetate to the back of this piece and allow it to dry. When dry, glue all the others behind EXCEPT the solid cauldron. Now that the piece with acetate is dry, spoon your embellishments in and glue the solid back on. Add the Mint Green AB confetti to the bubble die cuts and adhere with liquid glue.
Then it is just a matter of laying out your elements and gluing them down. It is such a fun box with loads of possibilities for any occasion!

Now on to the next card. For this card, I created an easy inlaid die-cut card.

The products I used for this card are:
This card is easy to make. First, you will grab several pieces of scrap white card stock. Next, using the Autumn Foliage Dies cut out several of the leaves. We will get to these in a moment. For the background layer, I started with a larger piece of white card stock. I arranged my dies all over the background and cut them. You may have to do these two or three times to get the design you want. Don’t throw away ANYTHING.
Taking the negative piece of card stock, glue it to a piece of thin copy paper. You can use a sheet of double-sided adhesive if you want. Then take the die-cut pieces and adhere them to the space. Once all pieces are adhered plop something heavy on top and allow it to dry.
Now let’s work on those leaves we cut out. You can use ANY colors you want. I used Distress Oxides in browns, oranges, and yellows. I just randomly blended ink over them all. When you are happy stop.
Now cut your inlaid white background panel to 3.75″ x 5″ and cut a border piece 1/8″ larger, in a coordinating color to your leaves.
Arrange your leaves and attach them with foam tape. Stamp your sentiment from the new Sentiment Stamps and Dies. I adhered to the sentiment to a bit of gold card stock. I adhered the gold border with glue and the sentiment with foam tape. I few of the Rose Gold Round Confetti bits were added and the card is done!
