Good morning! Kathy here and I am up on the Kat Scrappiness Blog with a new card for you. This card features the new Reindeer Games Stamps and coordinating Dies. This is an adorable set and there is also a sentiment stamp set that has the cutest sayings. All products will be listed below.

This card is a little larger than a mini-slimline. It measures 6.5” x 3.5” and will fit into a slimline envelope. It will also fit into a standard #10 office envelope. The reason I made this card this size is I wanted to fit the HO HO HO onto the card and this is what worked.
First things first, you are going to want to stamp all of those reindeer. Want to stamp the ENTIRE set without removing them from the plastic? Check out my tip HERE for doing this. Once you have your images stamped, color them with whatever media you choose. Today I used alcohol markers. I also added a few details with white gel pen.

Next, cut a 1.5” x 6.5” strip of 80lb card stock. With the small snowflake from the Reindeer Games Stamps Set, pick a red ink and stamp all over the background. This is an optional step but I find creating backgrounds with small, overlooked stamps to be quite fun!
Select some red and stock from your scraps. You will use them for the Stitched Slimline Strips and your letters. I used the 1/4” Stitched Slimline die and will be using 2 of the strips. These dies are fantastic. They come in 1/8”, 1/4”, 1/2” and 3/4”. They are great for creating borders and lines on your cards.
Now cut your letters using the Condensed Lower Case Alphabet Dies from the same red card stock. Now you will adhere the letters to your snowflake, stamped strip. TIP-start at the top, line your H up to the left side and your O to the right side. Do the same on the bottom. These letters measure 2”. So in the space between the bottom of the top H and the top of the bottom H find your center point and make a small pencil mark. Now place the H on the center point with an 1” above and an 1” below. There should be a 1/4” between the words now.
Now cover the entire strip with embossing ink and clear embossing powder and heat. I wish at this point I would have covered my Stitched Slimline Strips and embossed as well. You can see that the letters are a bit brighter.
Now glue your Stitched Slimline Strips to the left and right of the slimline panel. Trim off any excess.

It’s time to glue those deer down to your sentiment strip. Use a strong liquid glue. It works better on top of embossed areas. Add foam tape to the back of your sentiment panel and to the deer. I always add liquid glue on top of the foam. This allows you to wiggle the piece around to make sure it is straight. Get your T-ruler out to make sure the strip is straight.
I added the Christmas Glitter Sequins to the right of the deer strip for some bling. Cut a piece of card stock to 7” x 6.5”. Score the 7” side at 3.5” an fold. Adhere your main panel with a strong liquid glue.
