New Release from LDRS creative

It’s New Release Day with LDRS Creative and LOVE is in the air! Well, there’s actually a lot more! So, today I thought I would share some new creations with you. These new products are so versatile. There are new stamps, dies, and stencils and they were so much fun to play with!

Let’s get started! I don’t know if you have seen the Impress-ion Dies from LDRS Creative but they are amazing. I like it when products have multiple uses and these can be used with the Spellbinder’s BetterPress plates AND the Glimmer system to hot foil! Today I have examples of all! I hope you enjoy them! Leave me a comment below and let me know which is your favorite!

Card 1

Step 1: Use a pattern paper of your choice ( I used a metallic paper from the older One Fine Day 6 x 6 paper pad. It is no longer available but I am sure you have something in your stash.) I cut the paper with the largest die from the LDRS A2 Diagonal Stitched Card Topper Rectangle dies. I cut a piece of white card stock with the smaller rectangle die. I also cut a piece of black card stock slightly larger than this panel, approximately 1/4″ larger)

Step 2: Next, I used my Glimmer system to foil the Cupid’s Arrow Impress-ion die and the Elegant Frame Impression die. Follow the instructions of the GLimmer system. I used Gold Foil from Spellbinders.

Step 3: Using the Glimmer system again I foiled “A Hug Is Always the Right Size sentiment from the Love and Friendship Impress-ion die set. I used a scrap piece of the 110lb card stock and the same gold hot foil. There are beautiful sentiments in this set. The dies can be used with either the Glimmer Hot Foil System or the Better Press plates for a letterpress effect.

Step 5: The main panel was glued to the black. I added foam tape and adhered this to my patterned paper. Then it was all glued to a top folding A2 card base. I used a small heart die from my stash and cut 3 from a red glitter card stock. I also cut additional hearts from white card scraps and glued them together for some dimension. Then they were glued directly to the card,

Card 2

Step 1: This stamp set has 30 pieces I believe. Rather than lining them all up indiviually, I ran some tape runner to the door of my Misti stamping platform so I could stamp them all at once. I wanted to use them all as a background so I think this worked great. What do you think? I also think I would still be able to fussy cut any of the individual elements out. I stamped the entire set onto a 4.25″ x 5.5 ” panel of white card stock. I then cut the panel with the largest of the Delicate Stitches Scalloped Rectangle dies.

Step 2: Next, I cut a panel of red card stock to 4.25″ x 5.5″ and ran through my Spelliinder’s Platinum 6 with the LDRS A2 Triple Stitched Quilted cover plate. It’s no longer available but use any coverplate die for added texture. Then, I used the Square Phrases Die LOVE YOU and cut a square from the center of the stamped background panel. Use the same die to cut another square from some gold card stock. I added a few red enamel dots to the panel to the cut out black & white stamped square.

Step 3: Back the black and white square with a smaller square then inlay the gold letters. Position this square onto the red panel and glue down. Use your cut out panel to position it. Add aceatate to the back of the opening on the stamped panel. I use double-sided adhesive. Add foam tape to the back of the stamped panel with acetate. Add sequins onto your sentiment panel. Then carefully positions the main panel with foam tape and adhere.

Step 4: Using the Cupid’s Arrow die set I hot foiled the cupid, die-cut him and added him to the front with foam tape. I added a few more red enamel dots to the front as well. That’s it, no need to add a sentiment as the main panel says it all. Hope you like it!
