It’s time for a little more Shake It Up fun with Kat Scrappiness. Today we have an Instagram Hop with all of the Creative Crew from Kat Scrappiness. Please hop along with us for a chance to win a $25 gift card! I have another Halloween card for you today using the Large Cloud Shaker Kit.

This card was pretty easy to make. Let’s start with the hardest part first. Take the top frame to the shaker kit and cover it with white pigment ink. Then cover with white embossing powder and heat emboss. I think I did this 3 times for a glossier finish. Glue the acetate to the back and set it aside.
Cut your card base. Mine is a horizontal A2 top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. Cut one of the Embossed Wonky Waves from black card stock. I then splattered mine with some gold and white paints. Set aside to dry. Once dry, adhere your wavy die-cut to the card base.
Die-cut the word boo, using the Alpha Condensed Lower Case dies from patterned paper. Cut a second time from white card stock. I slightly offset the white letters behind the patterned paper to create a shadow. This also helps the top layer stand out. Decide where your sentiment is going to fit on your cloud. Attach with glue and a bit of foam tape.

Die-cut your ghosts. I colored a small piece of card black and glued it behind the face area. Then lay out your ghosts. I have a few under the cloud, so glue those down first with liquid glue.
Next, position the back part of your shaker kit to the wavy background with a strong liquid glue. Add your shaker bits. I used the Going Batty Confetti and the Halloween Dot Sprinkles. I chose not to fill it too full as I wanted the ghost behind the shaker to appear when the card was shaken.
Add the top frame with acetate with liquid glue. Attach the last ghost and a few of the bats from the Going Batty Confetti mix. They are so cute and SHINY!
That’s it the card is done and it is sooooo cute! These shaker kits are pretty thick and allow for a LOT of bits to be put inside. This card will probably require a special envelope and more postage OR just give it to someone that loves Halloween!
I hope you enjoy this card and that it has provided some inspiration for you. Please make sure to head over and see all of the new kits in the Kat Scrappiness Store.
