Good evening! It’s release day at Kat Scrappiness and it is all about SHAKER KITS! We have so many new shaker kits and over the next two days, you will see TONS of inspiration from our Creative Crew! You can see all of that inspiration on the Kat Scrappiness Blog. I encourage you to check all of the creations out.
Today I am using the Lollipop Shaker Kit with the Boo-gy Dies and the new 6 x 6 Creepy and Kooky patterned paper. So much fun in this release. So, let’s make a shaker card!

Card supplies
- Lollipop Shaker Kit
- 6 x 6 Creepy and Kooky Paper
- Boo-gy Ghost Dies
- Happy Halloween Die
- Bearly Arts Glue
- Foam Tape
- Die-cutting machine
- Distress Oxide Black Soot
- Glossy Accents
- Distress Oxide Villainous Potion
- Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb card stock
- Going Batty Confetti
- Halloween Dot Sprinkles
- Halloween Confetti
Cut an A2 card base. Mine is a side folding horizontal base. Cut a piece of patterned paper to 3.75″ x 5″. Adhere the patterned paper to the card base. I used double-sided adhesive tape.
DIe-cut the Boo-gy ghost and little lollipop. Ink blend the edge of the ghost with the Distress Oxide Black Soot. Add foam tape to the back.
Take the top of the shaker kit and cover it with Distress Oxide Villainous potion Ink. I added a gold paste to the lollipop stick. Once this is dry, adhere the acetate to the back with liquid glue.
Die-Cut the Happy Halloween sentiment in white. Die cut the shadow in coordinating purple cardstock (you can also cover the shadow with the Distress Oxide Villainous Potion so it matches the Lollipop Shaker Kit.) I covered the shadow with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with clear powder.
You will add foam tape to the back of the sentiment and it needs to be the same thickness as the shaker kit. I used three pieces of foam.
Adhere the shaker container to your card base with a strong liquid glue. Add a combination of sprinkles, dots, and confetti. Add a bit of glue to the edge of your sentiment and attach to shaker top. Remove the foam tape and and add glue to the back and adhere everything to your card. Add your ghost to the patterned paper.
I added a bit of glossy accents to the little lollipop the ghost is holding. This also came from the Boo-gy Ghost Die set.
