Simple Hot Foiled Card

Good morning today I have a card Featuring more of the new release from LDRS Creative. Today we are mixing it up with new products and some oldies but goodies.

I wanted a simple card that looked elegant. This card was easy to create. It came together very quickly. I hope you enjoy it.

The products used for today’s card are:

To create this card, cut a piece of colored card stock to 4 1/4“ x 5 1/2“.

Using the Modern Trellis Cover plate, die-cut a piece of 80-pound Nina classic white card stock. Adhere this to your colored card stock using liquid glue. Glue this to a top folding A2 card base.

Pull out your foiling machine and your hot foil. Today I am using the new Tulips impress-ion die Iletterpress die plate. Make sure you follow the instructions on your hot foil machine. I am using Spellbinder’s Glimmer Machine, hot foil, and the Tulips Impress-ion die. I used Spellbinder’s gold hot foil.

For the sentiment I cut three of the words “happy“ from white card stock, and from a gold card stock. I glued these together with liquid glue

I used the new Simply Sentiments stamps (set of 29) from LDRS Creative to create the sentiment strip. This set has 29 stamps, that all coordinate with the word dies in the Simply Words set. I stamped my selected sentiment with Versamark Ink, added gold, embossing powder, and heat set. I trimmed the sentiment to the size I needed and added foam tape to the back.

I wanted to add some dimension to the tulip focal point so I did something I never do, I fussy cut around the tulip. I know some people love fussy cutting however, I am not one of them. However, I do think it adds to the card as you can see the Modern Trellis in the background.

To assemble the card I added thin foam tape to the back of the tulips and adhered it to the center of the card panel the word was adhered with liquid glue

I am thoroughly enjoying the newest release from LDRS Creative. There are so many new products with such versatility from letterpress to foiling and stamping. This release has it all and I encourage you to check it out HERE.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I appreciate all of you. If this card inspired you and you choose to purchase any of the products I thank you in advance if you use one of the affiliate links contained in this post.
