I have a fun card for you using the Spellbinder’s Santa’s Lane Limited Edition Cardmaking Kit. Everything from this card is included in the kit except for the shaker pocket which is a new product from Kat Scrappiness. I wanted to make it look like the Santa was juggling and I hope I accomplished this. Please let me know what you think in the comments below. Now how about some card details?

This is a mini-slimline card. The shaker element measures 3.5” x 6”. The red card base measures 3.75” x 6.25”. I started out by cutting the white panel for the shaker element. Using the snowflakes in the Cardmaking kit I stamped them all over the panel with an acrylic block. I also added a few of the enamel dots from the kit to the background.

Next, I used a mini-shaker pocket from Kat Scrappiness. The shaker pockets have a clear film on the front so make sure you remove it. Then I peeled the tape backer from three sides and adhered it to the snowflake panel. Make sure you leave the top open and the tape backer on for now.

You can now add the sequins from the kit and seal your pocket. I cut a 1/4” strip of red card stock and glued it about 1” from the bottom of the shaker element. Now add some foam tape to the back of your ephemera and glue them down. Now add some strong adhesive tape to the back of the shaker element and adhere to your red card base.

This is a fun card and was really easy to make. I would love to hear your thoughts about the card in the comments below.
